Car Pooling
AIT Car Pooling Facebook Page is an initiative of AIT Sustainability Club with the following objectives:
- Sharing the cost of travel expenses
- Reduce the carbon emissions of the campus
- A chance for socializing during a long drive
The car pooling can be used in the following scenarios:
- Travelling from or to the airports
- Bulk shopping that would require a vehicle E.g. Makro, Talad Thai
- Users owning vehicles that wouldn’t mind some company with or without a fee
- For organizing group trips
The methodology used will be that of creating an ‘Event’ on the facebook page ” AIT Car Pooling” . In this way, if anyone is interested in car pooling, he/she can
- Initially see the list of events by clicking on ‘Events’. If there is already a car pooling event that suits your requirement then you contact the creator.
- If an event doesn’t exist, then one can create an event.

- Arrival
- Shopping
- Details: At your discretion
- Where: Example
- Suvarnabhumi Airport
- Don Muang
- Talad Thai
- When: Date and Time
- For AIRPORT DEPARTURE, time should indicate the TIME OF LEAVING AIT
- For AIRPORT ARRIVAL, time should indicate the TIME OF FLIGHT LANDING
- For any other purpose, time should indicate time of leaving AIT or any other applicable destination
- For AIRPORT ARRIVAL, time should indicate the TIME OF FLIGHT LANDING
